Make sure firmware is up to date (Suite will guide you)
Symptoms:
Incorrect PIN or passphrase error even when you’re sure it’s right
Fixes:
Double-check the PIN layout on your device screen (it’s randomized!)
If using a passphrase, remember it is case-sensitive and creates a separate wallet
Forgot your passphrase? Unfortunately, it cannot be recovered.
Try accessing the device without entering a passphrase to access the base wallet
Symptoms:
Trezor doesn’t show accounts in MetaMask
Connection freezes or fails
Fixes:
Use MetaMask + Trezor only in Chrome or Firefox
Make sure Trezor Suite is closed when using MetaMask (to avoid device conflicts)
Update MetaMask and Trezor Bridge
Reconnect via:MetaMask > Settings > Advanced > Reset Account
Then:Connect Hardware Wallet > Trezor
Symptoms:
Constant prompt to update firmware
Update fails or device reboots endlessly
Fixes:
Use Trezor Suite desktop app (not web) for firmware updates
If stuck:
Hold both buttons while connecting the device to enter bootloader mode
Retry the update process
Disconnect all other USB devices to avoid power issues

This usually means the device is initialized but not wiped.
If it’s your device and you want to reset:
Go to Settings > Device > Wipe Device
